California Wildfires

A federal disaster declaration was announced on Tuesday, October 23, 2007. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is working side-by-side with local and state officials and other federal partners engaged in the response to the multiple wildfires burning across Southern California. FEMA has remained committed to supporting California's response by coordinating with federal and non-governmental partners.
