Technologies for Critical Incident Preparedness (TCIP 2010) Conference
“Critical Connections: Linking Responders with Technology”The DM Program will participate in the Technologies for Critical Incident Preparedness(TCIP) 11th Annual Conference and Exposition, February 2-4 in Philadelphia, Pa. This event “Highlights DOJ, DHS, and DoD's technologies, RDT&E investments, and training tools currently available and being developed for the emergency responder community, as well as provides a forum for emergency responders to discuss best practices and exchange information.”
Registration is currently open and there is no fee to attend the conference. The TCIP agenda is now available.
The DM Program will participate in the following activities:
- DM Program exhibit co-located with FEMA Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS) Program. Members of the DM Team will be on hand to demonstrate and provide information about DM-Framework and DM-OPEN 2.0.
- Members of the DM Team will provide technical support for OASIS interoperability demonstrations via DM-OPEN. This event, hosted by the OASIS Emergency Interoperability (EI) Member Section, will showcase interoperable applications and tools that support OASIS Emergency Management (EM) standards, including the Common Alerting Protocol (CAP) and the Emergency Data Exchange Language (EDXL) suite of standards.
