Project Timeline
Requirements Definition - Complete
The requirements definition phase for both DM-Framework and DM-OPEN 2.0 was completed during April 2009. For DM-Framework, this was followed by alternatives analysis.
Design/Development - In Progress
DM-OPEN 2.0 completed the initial design and development phase in mid-August 2009. DM-Framework design began late July 2009 and was completed during early September. Additional configuration work is expected to be completed during December 2009.
Testing - Fall 2009 through February 2010
Both DM-Framework and DM-OPEN 2.0 will go through internal and external testing. Depending on the availability of an externally accessible test environment, user testing for DM-OPEN 2.0 is expected to begin near the end of October, and user testing for DM-Framework is expected to occur during February, 2010.
Production Deployment - December 2009 through February 2010
Assuming satisfactory completion of the test phase, and successful resolution of any outstanding issues, both DM-OPEN 2.0 and DM-Framework will be deployed to a production environment. The current target to complete the production phase is late February 2010.
Pilot Phase - March 2010
Once the production deployment is completed, both DM-Framework and DM-OPEN 2.0 will enter a pilot phase for further "real world" testing by actual users. This phase is expected to be complete by the end of March 2010, with full access provided to the user community thereafter.
